The POSTDIGITAL+ Introduction Event, held on 12 January 2026 at the Université libre de Bruxelles, marked the official start of the POSTDIGITAL+ doctoral programme. For the first time, all doctoral candidates and members of the international consortium came together in person, following months of online collaboration.
The event served as a key milestone for the project, providing an overview of the vision, structure, and research ambitions of POSTDIGITAL+. Beyond formal presentations, it created an important space for connection, dialogue, and the development of a shared project identity across institutions and disciplines.
A central highlight of the programme was a guest presentation by Mirko Goldmann, alumnus of the predecessor project POST-DIGITAL and currently working at Akhetonics.
