FreQomb: Optical Frequency Combs Workshop 2025 (1 - 4 July 2025) - International workshop

The third International FreQomb Workshop: Optical Frequency Combs took place on 1–4 July 2025 in Nice, France. Co-organised by the Aston Institute of Photonic Technologies (Aston University), the four-day event was hosted at the Institut de Physique de Nice (INPHYNI), bringing together global experts from academia, national laboratories, and industry.

Building on the success of previous workshops held at Aston University in 2022 and 2023, FreQomb 2025 provided a dynamic forum for exploring the latest developments in the science and technology of optical frequency combs. The programme featured discussions on novel comb sources based on lasers, waveguides, and microresonators; nonlinear dynamics in resonators; and a wide range of emerging applications, including astronomical instrumentation, quantum technologies, and photonic computing.
